Old Holland Oils - 225ml tubes. We currently stock three types of Old Holland whites in the largest tubes. Titanium White - the most opaque of the whites. Zinc White - more translucent, very useful for glazing and mixing. Mixed White 2 - a combination of titanium and zinc, with a combination of the qualities. Old Holland Paint - the premium brand of oil paints Old Holland Classic Oil are manufactured with the finest pigments and binders. These artist colours from Old Holland are professional quality oil packed with pigment and offer excellent covering power. There is a hand painted strip of oil paint around the top of each tube of oil paint which makes life so much easier for the artist! All classic paint colours have been ground in cold pressed linseed oil.
When applying the Zinc White oil colour, it is important to take particular qualities of this paint into account.
a) It dries considerably slowly, which is an advantage in some techniques
b) It has a moderate covering power, which means that Zinc White can be used to create gentle semitransparent overtones, without overlaying the background colour
c) It enhances the power of paint mixtures
The Zinc White oil colour of the good quality does not lose its whiteness due to the effect of light. It can discolour to yellow in the dark, but the colour fully restores under exposure to light.
In the majority of applications, the Zinc White is used in combination with other colours. This is because it is more transparent than the Titanium White. When using the Zinc White oil colour, we advise you to use other colours of the same manufacturer.

Delivery is charged as priced on each order (International delivery exceptions apply).
Standard Delivery: We aim to process and dispatch orders within two days. However at peak order times this may not always be possible so please allow 3-5 days for processing.
If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred.

Returns

Returns
You have 28 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once we have received your item and inspected it we will contact you.
If your return is approved, we will initiate an immediate exchange or refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Shipping
Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
Products returned by you within the seven-day cooling-off period will be refunded in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
